Stone surface cleaner
From tiled floors to granite counter tops, scrub out stains and spills from stone with this simple DIY cleaner. Start with a reusable glass spray bottle that can hold about 28 ounces of liquid. Add two tablespoons of mild dish soap and a few drops of Lavender essential oil; fill the rest with water, and voila! You have a fabulous floral cleanser for your stone surfaces.
Next comes the bathroom
Are dirty mirrors messing with your bathroom selfie game? Whip out your reusable glass spray bottles and stir up this minty concoction for sparkling mirrors and windows:
- 3 cups distilled water
- 1/4 cup rubbing alcohol
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 20 drops Peppermint essential oil
Combine all ingredients in spray bottle and shake to combine. Spray on mirrors, windows, or stainless steel. Wipe with a paper towel or microfiber rag for streak-free shine.
Mother Nature’s potpourri
Put a few drops of your favorite freshening essential oil or blend on the inside of your toilet paper or paper towel roll to release a satisfying scent every time you use it. Some of our favorites are Citrus FreshTM and Pine.
Shower- and toilet-cleaning fizzies
Make your bathroom scrubbing and dubbing more fun with fizzies that help you clean your shower and toilet. Choose from adding Lemon, Thieves®, or Citrus Fresh to your fizzies to leave your bathroom smelling pleasant. Read the entire recipe here.

Last, the bedrooms
Icky stickies begone
Have a few favorite toys in need of sanitation? Did your little artist decide to create a mural in their bedroom? Sticky residues on toys or crayon marks on the walls don’t stand a chance against essential oils. Use Jade Lemon to remove crayon or markers from surfaces or put a few drops of Lemon essential oil on a rag to remove icky messes in a cinch.
Lavender linen spray
Dust off your duvets and spruce up your sheets with this DIY linen spray. Play upbeat tunes and mist away to make linen-changing day one to look forward to.
- 1/4 cup distilled water
- 3 tablespoons rubbing alcohol
- 20 drops Lavender essential oil
- 10 drops Peppermint essential oil
Add to small spritzer bottle and shake to combine. Spray on sheets, pillowcases, linens, fabrics, and mattresses.
Air vent aromas
